I don’t really feel like I have the right words to describe this session. I don’t know if I’ve ever had a combination of light, locations, and subject at the same time that was so perfect. We started the session at Mahoney State Park, shot in the open sun for a bit, and then moved to some rocky crags, where she wasn’t afraid to shed her shoes, and and rock it barefoot. She tells me that she doesn’t wear shoes most of the time, so why not, right? We took a short break for a bit, and then went downtown after the streetlights had come on. So amazing! Everything looks very different after dark, so it was cool to have someone open to trying out some nighttime shooting.
Thank you so much to Gretchen from GretchElizArtistry for her top-notch makeup job that just made the shoot that much better. If you’ve never used a professional makeup artist before, I can’t recommend it enough!
